Oboz Yellowstone II
Beefy enough for overnights, but light enough for any day hike, the Yellowstone II is a versatile beast. Comfy right out of the box, the boot has a leather upper that is backed by Oboz's proprietary waterproof-breathable membrane, and is underpinned by deep lugs that rip through mud. Translation: These are legitimate rainforest stomers. A snug heel cup kept our heels right where they belong- grounded. The women's version uses some mesh, while the men's is all leather.
